I picked up a copy of Crash Bandicoot: Warped tonight and it got me thinking, I remember trading my friend Matt for it and a copy of the original Syphon Filter years ago but I cannot remember what I did with that copy of game. I know it's not important but I can usually remember unimportant things like that tongue

Also, I's like to know where my copy of Nintendo Power with the silver Mega Man X cover went. No clue on that one either....

Anyway, what's something you once had that you can't for the life of you remember where it went?

This bad boy right here. One of the nicest action figures I've ever owned with incredible packaging. Sometime during moving, I misplaced him. Can't find it for the life of me. sad

Edit: My old Pokemon Red cart. I'd love to know where that one went.

Recently? One of this guy's beam saber hilts.

What ever happend to predictability?  The milk man, the paper boy, evening TV?

...

Please tell me I'm not the only one who thought of that when reading this topic's title.  If so, then my answer to your question is "my sanity" and I guess it's lost forever. sad

But seriously, I used to have a few mint FF7 action figures (still in their original packaging) hanging on my wall and I can't remember for the life of me if I sold them or they're just MIA.  I bet if I could find them they'd be worth something because they came out in 1998 and were pretty rare when I last checked.  Oh well!

I used to have a methane respiratory system, for when I used to visit Titan. It was so convenient. All I did was swallow the pill and it dissolved my lungs, replacing them with methane absorbers. Did you one of you take it? I know you're just dying to swim in the methane seas...

I had a Mario baseball cap sold through Nintendo Power's Super Power Club catalog. Like all their merchandise at the time, it was very well made, fit comfortably, and the stitched "M" logo was a perfect replica of Mario's. No extraneous "Super Mario Bros" or Nintendo logo on the back, just a simple, well-made hat. Idolizing Mario in my youth, I couldn't ask for better.

And one day, it simply vanished. My mother babysat; it seems likely that one of those urchins she watched swiped it, but only because I can think of no other explanation for its disappearance. I'm sure there are dozens of equivalents available now, but I'm not convinced they will match the quality of the original.

Come to think of it, my Secret of Mana player's guide disappeared at around the same time.

Sorry, man. I know I'm already behind on rent, but the urge to dive into the depths of Titan was engulfing.

I thought of Baby Jane and rats for dinner myself, but you just made me feel 10 again, so cheers.

I have a habit of buying strategy guides and losing them almost immediately. It keeps me honest I suppose (or more likely, it keeps GameFAQs on my bookmark list), and one or two do manage to pop up when I can put them to use, but I can't imagine where the rest all go. I expect someday I'll open a long-neglected door and die of suffocation, buried under an avalanche of musty EGM2 magazines from 1998.
