"The Last Story" is Sakaguchi's latest project, developed by Mistwalker and published by Nintendo, for the Wii. It's supposed to come out this year in Japan, but little is known about the game yet.

But damn, does that music sound fantastic. Any ideas on who the composer might be? It gives a Chrono Trigger-ish Mitsuda vibe, but then again, Uematsu's Lost Odyssey teaser site music also fooled me into thinking it was Mitsuda style. Uematsu himself would be a safe and obvious bet, but however it is, I won't say no to 2 CDs worth of stuff like this.

There should be more info about the actual game this month, too.
