I finally have a moment to stop and write something here. I feel bad for vanishing from this community that has been such an important part of my life for almost thirteen years, and I don't know when I'll be able to return as a regular, but I thought I'd at least drop by and say hi. Being a "grown up" really sucks. Between working two jobs (one with a rough commute), being a single homeowner (if I don't do it, it doesn't get done), and forcing myself to get out there and date, some things have had to give, and unfortunately this was one of them. Hopefully I'll be able to stop by more often in the future.
Anyway, entertainment-wise, here's what I've managed to squeeze in:
No More Heroes 2 (Wii)
-Really enjoyed it, but thought the first was better since it was a more complete experience with all the subtle touches in the world and what not
Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth (Wii)
-Haven't gotten that far, but aside from the sloppy graphics, I'm definitely enjoying it
New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii)
-Didn't really get that into it in single-player, but had a great time going through the whole game with a friend
Cave Story (Wii)
-Really like this so far, and I can't wait to beat it (I'm at the very end I think)
Perfect Dark (360)
-Very pleased with this upgraded port; makes me wish I had a 360
The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus (Film)
-Wonderful imagery
The Ghost Writer (Film)
-Political point trying to be made by the director is too obvious, but acting is fantastic and I was entertained
I'm very much looking forward to playing Mega Man 10, Super Street Fighter IV, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Metroid: Other M. I also hope I'll have time to go back and get to Mario & Luigi RPG 3 and Spirit Tracks someday, but I'm not too hopeful there.
Hope you're all well!
