Curious if anyone's seen Studio Ghibli's latest film, "Karigurashi no Arrietty" yet?  The art work, as always, looks worthy of admission, but seeing as this is being handled by a director other than Miyazaki, perhaps the story has a better shot at staying cohesive throughout?  I mean, not like Ponyo?

As for The Borrowers, I remember being a casual fan of Mary Norton's original novels.  Never did see the Peter Hewitt/John Goodman '97 film.

I haven't seen it yet, but it looks great and I'm really looking forward to seeing it. Sadly, I have no idea when or if I'll be able to see it. Tucson almost never gets theatrical releases of niche, animated films like this one and I'm not sure when or if Disney plans to release it. I'm staying hopeful though! :3

Not gonna lie, after Tales from Earthsea I'm not really looking forward to another non-Hayao, non-Hisaishi film.
