new(er) album, new song above.
not as dark as their last album, 'Neon Bible', but good nonetheless.
one of the very few new bands of this decade/century, that i enjoy.

Did anyone else try the "interactive video" for We Used To Wait?
Pretty awesome. But you need to use Chrome and you'd best have a decent computer to run it well.

Of course this was already posted. I'm an idiot. This is what happens when I only read the top post.

anyone on mtv or your radio station is def not indie. that being said, i still like them, despite my general dislike for commercialised music.

It's true! Hell, MTV makes FUN of indie music...of course, they make fun or whoever or whatever they don't get $$$ out of.
For example, they marketed the hell out of Avril Lavigne back in the day; now she's a joke, as far as MTV is concerned.
That's one big reason why pop music doesn't sit well with me: Today's coolest thing, tomorrow's laughing stock. Also: Catering to the lowest common denominator.
That all said, I could never get into Arcade Fire; I sampled Neon Bible and Suburbs (the full albums in their entirety), but I guess they're just not my thing.
Me, I listen to a lot of indie music...
I've never heard Arcade Fire on radio stations in my town (outside a review of the album on NPR) and I don't watch MTV.
They're indie as far as I'm concerned. Just BIG indie.
