I'm looking to open up my own web site, but I don't have a lot of money to spend; anybody know where I could put up a web site for free? I'm expecting, and have budgeted, to be able to pay as much as $20 per month, for web space that requires payment, but I'd prefer to not have to pay any money at all.

When I interview with employers, and tell them about my selling experience, they're impressed until they found out that I don't have my own web site, and just do it on my own independently; at which point, they promptly show me the door.

So, I'm thinking about putting up a web site for all of my stuff for sale, so I can at least look legit in their eyes, and at least show them I'm able to manage and handle a web site.

Once I get settled into my own site, if y'alls would also like me to put up some of your own stuff to sell on my site, too, I won't charge commissions; if anything, helping other people sell their stuff would (hopefully) end up making my site more relevant! I'd just act as a go-between for buyers and sellers.
