OMG, that was hilarious!

Is it limitless? We just don't feel like counting!

I know. That was probably the best trailer I have ever seen for a game in ages! Oh, and even if not limitless you can at least customize with "sexy-jiggly boobs" ... yup, sexy-jiggly boobs! That has to count for something smile

This's been out for a while in Japan already, and I've been ogling it on the shelves as a possible purchase, but it seems like a bit too much of a grindfest (I somehow got that impression) to be enjoyable for me.

The humor is classic though, I'll have to hand it that.
The voice over has nothing on the original Japanese actor though.

It's very much a grindfest. You really have to like Rogue-likes to not be infuriated by it -- if you lose, you lose everything you had equipped and in your pouch, AND the game implies (though I haven't tried it) that quitting will still have you lose everything too -- and unlike, say, Azure Dreams, there's no easy "leave now" item. You have a small amount of items to take with you. Making money is hard. Equipped items wear out and they wear out FAST. On top of all that, the story, while very silly and over the top, isn't quite as 'there' as one might want it to be.

Not sure it's my type of game, but damn that trailer was awesome! If I was into grind-fest style games, then this would look like the Holy Grail. XD

I haven't played the game so I don't know if I'd like it or not. However, I loved the trailer smile
So how long did you play the game? Did you beat it, or did it get to be a bit too much?

That doesn't sound very promising...

Personally, while I loved the video I never had any intention of getting the game. I have enough of a problem playing through the RPG's I already have... it's hard to have the patience to even replay past staples. Last RPG I played I screwed up a requirement to get the best character thus wasted 12 hours. Grumblecakes! Opera is that good!

And patience is in short supply at the moment, MGS just had me swearing and chucking the controller across the room.

Yeah, video games in general are not particularly important in my life. I still love them, and I like to keep up with the industry, but they're at the bottom of my to-do list. Still, every now and then it's relaxing to take some time off and just play. I typically do not purchase games when they come out because I don't have time, and they price is rarely worth it. The exception will be the Diablo III Collector's Edition. That is going to be one amazing game...

It's worth getting, even if for only the title!

If I was going to get anything for the title, I'd get this:

And, yes, I am a pervert.

Ah yes, I saw that too. Funny title, however the video is an order of magnitude less interesting than the Darkdeath trailer.

I have to give you that, I actually got sick of how many times they used the word "dude" in the trailer - overkill.

Still, there is something about the p-word that makes it deliciously naughty.

The words "dude" and "trailer" in one sentence; I didn't even need to click the link to know what it was. smile

But it's "dood", dude.  Not "dude."
