Well, I had both the Gameshark and Action Replay for the PS2 back in the day, so I'm wondering:

Aren't there any cheat codes or cheat devices for the Nintendo Wii, like there were for the PS2?

Y'see, I'm beating myself over the head, trying to slog through this tedious Wii JRPG called Arc Rise Fantasia.

I don't really care for the battle system, and the game doesn't look like it's going to be ultimately rewarding enough for me to make the time investment of all the level-building I'll have to do...

Granted, I'm about...30 hours in already?! Okay, yeah, I'd rather not spend...90 hours, or whatever it will end up being, just to finish this one damn game...

...and I can imagine there're be other Wii games I'll want to hack, as well.

Any help? At all? Please?

If you don't mind starting over, it looks like the second save file on this page would put you at the beginning of the game with high stats.

Yeah, Gamefaqs is always a good place for save files.

Alternatively, Bernie, you could, you know, just STOP playing the game if you're not actually enjoying it?

Sounds something like the "Spirit Tracks" syndrome that others appear to be suffering from here.

Yeah, saw that already; that's probably just what I'll do.

Ain't that the truth?

I don't know why I keep picking up JRPGs, especially when I said I wouldn't anymore...the soundtrack was very promising, and I've been enjoying it, so naturally, I just had to go get the game as well...

Then again, I pop in, say, the original Dragon Quest, and I get all starry-eyed...that, or the original Phantasy Star...I guess, it's kind of like, when a game tries too much like it wants to be a movie, it's like, why not just make it a movie?

There have been quite a few games that I enjoy just for the plot, characters, setting, music, and I just blaze through the game using cheat codes...if they'd simply been anime, or an episodic series, I would've been much happier with them.

Don't know what went wrong with the Xenosaga anime, though... (-_-);

Anybody know anything about transferring a game save from your PC to a SD card properly, so that your Wii can read and access the game save?

I found this here, but I'm only hoping it works: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/930752-w … 797?page=1

EDIT: Yup! It works!

God, do I ever love it when data is malleable...

Thanks for the recommendation, Rein!
