"Team Entertainment Live Act 2011" has been announced for May 8th at Zepp Tokyo.
http://www.team-e.co.jp/sp/live2011/artist.html

Lots of people that I'm not familiar with, seems similar to Konami's scenario of having a lot of pop vocalists. Most of them have vgmdb artist pages already if you want to look them up.

Shit, that is TOO tempting for me to pass up.

Since they refuse to come to Osaka YET AGAIN, I guess I'll be making a trip to Nagoya then...

Adam Corn Jun 12, 2011

Tix are already on sale so you might want to snatch 'em up.  Not sure about the Nagoya shows but the Tokyo ones have sold out at least a couple times now as I recall.

That's probably a Tokyo problem, since even the Osaka one still had plenty of seats available in 2007, and they're holding it in that peasant hovel Nagoya this time, so the place'll probably be deserted wink

Anyhoo, placed my order, and now I have to wait for the results (they'll be drawing lots if there's too many applications apparently) on June 25th. It looks like there's plenty of room available still, though.

Little Jack Orchestra Concert
08/28 - Yokohama

The "amateur" but very respectable Little Jack Orchestra will be holding this year's concert at the Minato Mirai Hall, the same venue where I saw their glorious Final Fantasy VI concert in 2009.  Along with the pipe organist it appears this year they are adding a choir.

Unlike the FFVI and Dragon Quest / Chrono Trigger concerts, this one will span a number of series.  The first half includes Seiken Densetsu 2 & 3 (Angel's Fear, Meridian Festival, Meridian Child), Final Fantasy VI (Kids Run Trough the City Corner, Terra's Theme), Romancing SaGa 3 and Konami Wai Wai World.  The second half is dedicated to Yoko Shimomura's works and includes Legend of Mana, Front Mission, Live a Live and Kingdom Hearts.

I'm a bit disappointed that they're not focusing on particular titles and yet-to-be-arranged themes as much as previous concerts but still totally intend to go.

Got my ticket for Press Start in Nagoya!

Can't wait to hear Xenoblade!

Amazingu Sep 21, 2011

So last monday was the Press Start 2011 concert in Nagoya.
It reused a couple of themes from previous concerts, but the new stuff was really good, NieR was beautiful and Xenoblade was absolutely amazing!

I'll probably write up a more detailed review this weekend, but suffice to say I hope they release this on CD!

Adam Corn Sep 21, 2011

Cool, looking forward to reading more about it.  If you post it here maybe even give it its own thread?  I just realized this is the first year we haven't had a dedicated Press Start thread. sad

Last year's concert is the only one they've release on album thus far right?  Guess we'll find out how well it sold.
