Tomodachi Collection
Pilotwings Resort
Star Fox 64 3D
Wii Fit Plus
Mario Kart Wii

Personally I would LOVE to get a Mario Kart Wii CD, and Pilotwings Resort would be pretty neat too.  Can anyone who's played Star Fox 64 3D comment on how different/not it is from the original N64 game's soundtrack?

So irritated that Nintendo CDs continue to be so difficult to acquire due to their only being released like this.  I suppose it's better than no CDs at all?  Is it too much to hope that Skyward Sword will get a full multi-disc release at least through Club Nintendo as Mario Galaxy 1/2 did?

Screw the CDs, I'm getting that adorable 8-bit Mario cushion!

Anyone wanna hook me up with the Starfox and Mario Kart Wii discs if they are indeed japan-only? smile

Yes, I think it's too much too hope. The big N blew it when they never released a soundtrack to Twilight Princess. Why would they amend and release one to Skyward Sword? Well, at least it does come with a bonus orchestrated CD which will hopefully be wonderful... hopefully.

The collector in me wants all of them, but I don't know if I feel like spending the money.

Disappointingly, the Orchestrated CD will only be HALF of the entire concert, which makes it a damn shame, because the CD COULD have been a truly wonderful bonus.  I'm sure the music still would be great, but I am really irritated at the stinginess that Nintendo has been showing for giving its games soundtrack releases.

Especially since, frankly, not just TWILIGHT PRINCESS, but the upcoming SKYWARD SWORD, are arguably some of their finest.  The latter especially needs a OST release because it's with a full orchestra, for crying out loud!  If only Nintendo would team up with a record company and have the OST released in its entirety... ah, I can only dream.

Haven't heard enough of Skyward Sword to judge (always media blackout for Zelda games for me), but personally I never really felt that disappointed that TP didn't get an OST release.  It is easily my least favorite Zelda score - I found the entire thing very unmemorable except for Midna's Desperate Hour or whatever that track was called when you're dragging her back sick/injured/whatever it was.

Meh, to each their own, I thought it was a very fine score.  It was more subtle and less "stirring", but I felt it worked in favor of creating a moody, melancholy atmosphere which is what I felt the game was aiming for.  Having listened to the music countless times, I couldn't find any fault with it save for the MIDI issue, but even then that's excuseable.
