I Love It. Don't Touch It. <3

XLord007 Mar 15, 2012

I have no idea about the mobile format, but on my PC (Win Vista using Chrome) there's a space missing after the forum name and before the poster's name so the word "by" is smashed up against the end of the forum name. Also, the blue Albums tab at the top overlaps the Search button.

Same here.

Also, the font for new/updated topic titles is not bold anymore (there's just a blue square in front of them now), which is not an improvement.

This.

TerraEpon Mar 16, 2012

Was just about to post the lack of bold thing.

Thank you, jb. Mobile style still needs a couple tweaks but I'm pretty happy with it.

Those of you who are having problems with the regular layout be sure to try reloading the page. I'll test on Chrome and IE as soon as I get home.

Yep, refreshing the page solves the bold font problem!
Thanks for that, Adam!

Did not work for me hmm

XLord007 Mar 16, 2012

The two issues I mentioned are not affected by a refresh.

Adam Corn Mar 17, 2012

I'm looking at the forums in Chrome right now and everything is exactly as it should be, no strange formatting.

XLord and Smeg, can you please try reloading again and if it still doesn't look right mail me a screen capture?  I'm mailing you both now to make sure you have my address.

Is anybody else having issues?

Just got home from a business trip and am finally able to test the non-mobile site. I dislike the change that no longer bolds the unread threads, but overall the new format looks great.  It looks like the bold is now applied to the page numbers for threads that span multiple pages, strangely enough.

TerraEpon Mar 17, 2012

I don't like how the thread starter is now AFTER the "new posts" link. Kinda counter-intuitive.

Adam Corn Mar 17, 2012 (edited Mar 17, 2012)

New/updated threads should totally be in bold still, same as before. hmm

I'm 90% sure these are all issues with the updated stylesheet simply not being loaded.  I just applied a tweak to force it reload so those of you experiencing issues please try looking one more time. smile

I'm not sure I agree with that but the "new posts" link could probably at least use a color tweak or something to make it stand out a bit more.  Will work on that.

Still not working here after f5 or ctrl-f5.  Using Chrome fwiw. I'll give it a day or two.

I think you fixed the bold topic issue for me.

So I know for future reference, what does the above mean? Are you emailing us or is there some forum mail that I'm not aware of? I remember Angela once saying she tried to email me through the forum, and I never got any sort of notice nor could I find any sort of forum inbox. Thanks.

If you click someone's user name, you'll be taken to their profile, where you'll be able to select "Send E-mail."

I've never actually used this function, but it's been in place for a loooooooong time now wink

Ok, I tested this on myself, but it doesn't seem to work. It's supposed to send an email to the address I have registered with the forum, but no email comes through.

Might be an issue on your end (check your spam folder maybe?). I've received a few emails from the forum, including the one Adam just sent.

Beats me. The spam folder is empty and I was able to receive email from one of my other email accounts to the email account I have registered here.

So is anybody still having any issues with the layout?
