Nice to see that voice actors are getting their due credit. Kevin Conroy has long been one of my favorite voice actors... but, let me just say, for various reasons I'm going to say Camilla Luddington is a standout

The one video game voice actor that stands out in my memory is Thomas Haden Church, who was the bandit Goban in Ys Book I & II. This was a few years before he was in "Ned & Stacey", but around the time he was in "Wings".
Wondering what Mario sounded like before Martinet landed the role? Find a copy of Super Mario Bros. 3 to hear a much deeper, raspier version of the portly plumber.
Voice acting in SMB3? What?
They're probably just referring to the cartoon. Funnily enough, though, SMB3 did feature the debut of Charles Martinet--various telephone recordings and audio store displays advertising the game featured the first instances of Martinet's Mario, more or less the same as it is today.
I rue the day.
