I was disappointed when Nintendo and Sony started manufacturing their systems in China. Nintendo still manufactures many of their games including DS games in Japan. However, all Vita games I've seen are made in China. I consider this rather lame on Sony's part. Are they really saving that much by producing their games in China. I'm sure the answer is no, but I'm also sure the top-dogs in Sony are able to screw others out of money and thus line their coffers. Call me a cynic if you want, but I'd like to see someone prove me wrong.

And my second post, which probably should have a separate thread, but anyway. I have two vita games (both made in China). One works, the other I just got, Muramasa Rebirth which does NOT work! I put the card in the vita, and all I get when I try to play is a black screen. I can exit out of it, so the vita does not crash, but power cycling and removing reinserting the card does nothing. Has anyone experienced something similar, or can anyone point to anything that may help? I have not found anything about this on the web (yet), but I doubt I'm the only one experiencing this.

I can't comment on the games, but I'm having a similar issue with headphones. There is a company called Hifiman that makes relatively affordable high-end gear, that is well-regarded in the headphone community. The one knock on them is their build quality, even of the higher end models. I can't even begin to consider the brand over the likes of Sennheiser, Beyerdynamics (both German brands) or Audio Technica (Japan). The whole made-in-China thing really helped me narrow down my decision. I've heard too many issues of poor gluing, cheap materials, etc, etc.

So I tend to agree, in the sense that I prefer to avoid "made in China" whenever possible. Shame its not always possible.
