Oh I know this sounds like a bad comedy, but trust me, it's all too real.
Apparently, wildlife services had been using aerial reconnaissance... to target a little baby fawn. I only wish I was kidding. Then nine armed DNR agents raided the no-kill shelter, and what did they do? You got it! They killed the little fawn. Why? oh probably because it was probably going to be the next Hitler.
Supervisor Jennifer Niemeyer said the law requires the DNR agents to euthanize animals like Giggles because of the potential for disease and danger to humans..."If a sheriff's department is going in to do a search warrant on a drug bust, they don't call them and ask them to voluntarily surrender their marijuana or whatever drug that they have before they show up," Niemeyer said
I think this country has really gone crazy. Seriously, this is beyond idiotic. Oh, and if you want to send Jennifer a "nice" note about how brave it was to shoot the fawn, here is her contact information. In the meantime, I am open to suggestions of decent places to live where they don't raid and shoot little baby animals.
