I've noticed a problem with replying to messages using Firefox 29.  When I hit post reply and start typing in the box below, the browser locks up on me.  However, if I go quote to reply that way, there is no problem.  I also don't have a problem starting a new topic.  Just wondering if anyone else has seen this issue?

I'm not seeing that issue personally.  Some CTRL+F5 or browser cache/cookie clear action couldn't hurt.

Well when you click the "Post reply" link on a topic page, some Javascript opens up the reply form at the bottom of the page.  That must be what's causing the freeze, although I can't imagine why.  I tried it with Firefox 29.0.1 on my Windows 8 machine and it worked okay.

I believe avatar had a similar problem some time back.  Not sure if he's still experiencing it or not.

I imagine with the next Firefox update the problem will go away, but if it persists and if many people are experiencing it I'll look into a fix.  If you don't mind using the "Quote" reply button in the meantime I'd appreciate it.

It must be Java then - I'm posting from work on Firefox 29.0.1 (same ver as home) and I'm doing just fine.  weird.
