lol, I seriously couldn't get through Rush of Blood in one sitting, and was pacing myself to try Kitchen demo, I never did!
I dunno about traditional games having VR and how well that would work or be necessary - I mean an RPG, I'm not sure that's needed..
but that Playroom VR "Robot Rescue" is really something impressive...it's basically a "here Nintendo, here's what you could do with the next Mario". But it's criminally short (1 level)
Battlezone was the demo I tried at a Best buy late last year that made me go "wow! I'm getting this" but I hadn't tried VR at all.
I think there's something to be said about "getting your VR legs" because it helps to understand and see what type of experiences you'll want to play/enjoy and realize a bit more what the platform is better geared towards. Keep in mind it's a pretty physical experience - there's alot of stuff happening in your brain when you're "plugged in" - was funny to see different people's reactions, some sweated alot. And me personally, if I was tired some of the side effects (nausea) were exaggerated for a game like Rigs.
But there's lots of demos included so you can see what it's all about. It's definitely a bit pricey - but it's pretty cool stuff I have to say.
Next game I want to get is Rez - physical copy of course...
