The best classic game music and more
This is the sequel. I’ve actually never heard of it, but somebody recommended the soundtrack so I gave it a listen and it’s awesome (if you like this kind of music that is).

Anybody played the first one? Not really my type of game but I think I’ll give it ago, it’s free in September via Playstation Plus.
Never played the first one, but playing X2 right now (like literally RIGHT NOW, it's on while I'm typing this) and I'm quite liking it.

Thanks for the tip; this had (and likely would have remained) off my radar. The platforming elements look great, but I don't know if all the shooting elements that come with would make the game worth my while (also, no PS4, so). The soundtrack's certainly awesome!
I didn't like the original much at all (was either free on PS+ or part of the PSNow beta, I forget). FWIW.
