The deadly Goomba kills teens. Behold the deadly Goomba.
That's a shame they're gonna have to live with for the rest of their lives. The video doesn't lie.
You never can imagine how complex death is until you watch a non-gamer play World 1-1 in Super Mario Bros. It's the videogame equivalent of 1,000 Ways to Die.
Honestly, it was not as bad as I expected.
A couple of them genuinely seemed to have some actual knowledge.
Shocking that none of them knew Zelda though.

This is what happens when Nintendo stops making cartoons. You gotta have the cartoons to hook 'em while they're young. Sure, the Nintendo cartoons we grew up with were terrible, but they did their job well. People complain about how all the Star Wars TV shows are aimed at kids instead of adults, but they know EXACTLY what they're doing.
When I was 11 years old and experienced Super Mario Bros. for the first time, it was difficult to make it to stage 2-1. I remember not believing the claim of my cousin in Virginia that he had made it to stage 2-1 in early 1988. Assuming those teenagers were experiencing SMB for the first time, their skills are on par. It would be interesting to see one's normal progression through the game without outside help. As I recall, it took me many months to finally complete the game. I know now that it can be completed in one afternoon.
