Disturbing, though at least students with a better grasp on the situation were portrayed as well. I don't think it's just a dumb college kid thing, either--you could probably pull the same stunt outside a grocery store and get similar results. On the other hand, there are those who think the appropriate solution is to raze the entire Middle East, and they seem to far outnumber the 13 college students here. I've had to stop reading comments on news articles concerning ISIS--while I obviously don't oppose pursuing the terrorist group, the hypocrisy in how some people respond is really distressing.
That is what makes ISIS scary...That they're recruiting from within other countries, including the US. That just makes a McVeigh or 9/11 style attack all the easier to pull off if its coming from within. Sadly, I think there's enough disgruntled, disenfranchised and even brainwashed youths over here, that they'll become an internal issue at some point.
Damn, that guy's putting his life on the line out there to make his point. I'm surprised he didn't get knocked out.
