I made some changes and the mobile touch menu seems to be working fine again on Firefox and Chrome for Android.

jb can you let me know how it does on iPhone?

It still doesn't work but I was tapping around on the top toolbar and if I click the Search magnifying lens, then close the search box that comes up, they function properly until I reload or navigate to another sub page/topic.  Maybe it has something to do with the search box strata?
