I know this is a rather weird topic, but I've been having trouble with this eBay seller and it's kind of been annoying.
I've been getting back into Euro Metal and I'm looking for some rather specific prints of certain CDs. Most of the time it's the Japanese pressing when the Japanese bonus track ends up being good... which is every once in while.
In the listing for each item the seller lists the shipping as $3, but in the description the seller says shipping to the US is $8. He says to wait for an invoice from him with the correct shipping & handling... but I honestly don't know how to request an invoice without actually playing for the damn item. I see I can "request a total" if I buy more than one item... but this doesn't work on his items because he has a discount thingy set up.
Am I missing something here?
Anyway, when I do this he gets pissed at me (I get a long ass e-mail with a bunch of bitching) but I'm sorry... I know the way e-Bay sets up the shipping it's kind of annoying to set up... but come on... set the shipping up the right (expletive) way already!
But really am I missing something? Is there a way to request an invoice beyond messaging a seller? If I did that wouldn't that be taking the transaction outside of eBay? Sometimes when I buy some things I get a "commit to buy" confirmation before getting to PayPal... but this doesn't happen very often.
Additionally, while I know he may be getting docked a few cents on the $5 difference when I send back the payment on the invoice, but one invoice is going to be sent between us regardless of how the bull(expletive) transaction takes place so I don't see the (expletive) point of getting bent out of shape.
Part of me wants to tell him off... but this seller makes it easy to find certain albums I'm looking for.
If I really am missing something then I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be annoying...
