God, I hate Adam Sandler. I will probably need to see this movie because of my roots but it is going to be painful.

Actually, while I know the author was having fun completely reaming the movie and Sandler... I thought it was actually well written and made some good points. Granted we already kind of know some of those things.

There is most definitely an artform to being a critic, especially a critic that does not come off as an arse. I think this guy (Bob, apparently) does an excellent job. If you listen to some of his other reviews, particularly when he enjoys the movie, there is little swearing and quite a lot of insightful thoughts and comments (for example, see his review of Antman).

When most mainstream media is busy villifying games like Grand Theft Auto, Call of Duty, etc., the whole concept of painting Pac-Man or Centipede or Q-Bert as bad guys is both patently absurd and a case of misplaced priorities.
