So, I was kinda excited about this game, until I started playing Danganronpa (which I'm going to sell, so if anyone is looking for the Limited US release, let me know). Then I started seeing similarities between the two: Hmmm,

-Both set in some school

-Main character some timid/average guy (of course)

-Both feature gruesome deaths

-Fanservice? Yup

I guess these type of settings must be popular in Japan? Before I totally write-off Corpse Party, I'd like to get opinions from those that have played the game. I think it's doubtful I'll enjoy this game, but I'm trying to keep an open mind (I do quite enjoy survival horror).

Don't even bother. You've made it pretty clear your opinion on survival horror in the past and with you're recent distaste for Dangan Ronpa you'll not like this. It's also a direct continuation and conclusion to a story that was built over 2 previous games so unless they give a lot of recap (not sure if they do or not) I wouldn't even recommend this as a starting point.
