Is it just me or can you hear Final fantasy or even Mario kart influence in the tune?

I can’t seem to pin point which game music it resembles though.  Catchy tune regardless.

I can't hear Final Fantasy in this for the life of me, but I can't deny it has a bit of a Mario Kart, or maybe even a Wave Race vibe to it. I'm definitely reminded of racing games from the N64/GC era.
