I ordered the last Everdrive I really needed today. I had $90 worth of points at Stone Age Gamer, so I got the custom edition for $160. Now I just have to acquire the N64 console, Expansion RAM, and a few controllers.
My console collection just didn't feel complete. I already have the NES, SNES, GCN, Genesis and Turbo Duo, so acquiring the N64 is one step closer to completion (a NEO GEO AES would REALLY make it complete, but that's still not a smart financial move). My concern is with cartridge systems and I got the GCN mainly to play GBA games on a TV.
The only physical N64 cartridge I'm buying is Perfect Dark, for display reasons. It will look good on a shelf. The games I'm most looking forward to playing are Mischief Makers and Jet Force Gemini. I'm surprised how small the complete ROM set is for the N64; there were less than 400 games released across all regions.
