What the hell is this shit?  To think they had a countdown for this...

It says music is going to be done by Steve Jablonsky.  I am curious if he's going to stay away from the old Transformers theme like the movie itself is apparently staying away from Gen 1.  I checked his IMDB profile to see he did additional music for Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, Team America: World Police, amongst others.  As composer, he seems to like horror movies that I don't watch, especially Texas Chainsaw Massacre.  In other words, I'm not familiar with this guy's work---anyone heard any of his stuff and liked it?

He wrote the score to Steamboy, which is very very good. His other stuff....not so much.

Bummer ....they dogged Vince (DiCola)... In other news, I heard the original voice actors for Optimus and the lead bad guy (man I can't remember his name...haha) were going to be tapped for the film.  I had heard there is some battling going on between Hasbro and the film company on some of the specific details, but all pointed to primary gen 1 influences (including Shockwave)... Also, there's supposedly an entire line of cars being created by major car manufacturers...sounds like a big production...giddy-yup

Not impressed with the direction they're going with the marketing at all thus far.  The dark and foreboding mood is a pretty obvious throwback to Terminator.  At least they put the Autobot emblem in at the end.  It is very much just a teaser though so will try to remain optimistic until a proper trailer comes out, although with Micheal Bay at the helm it's difficult.

The Spidey 3 teaser on the other hand is nice.

Yeah, I thought it was typical, and I really wonder if they'll do justice to Venom and the black costume?  I liked SM, and SM 2 was decent, but you know series tend to get worse and worse as they go along.  BTW, I thought Superman Returns was decent, but not great.  Best movie I've seen recently was "Who Killed the Electric Car" -highly recommended
