I'm going up to Birmingham to grill out at a friend's apartment, and then we're all going to the Barons baseball game. (Minor league White Sox affiliate.)

I'll probably do nothing, which thus would be typical for me---I'll most likely end up not going to a friend's apartment or to a family gathering, even though I'm most likely expected by both parties to attend.

I'm going to do what I always do, tap every Falcom fan's phone and try to train my pet spider to kill Harry.

It's not often that I celebrate this holiday. Most of the time, I just stay at home and try to ignore the explosions. Last year was an exception as I got very drunk and did some particularly odd things. I don't remember that evening very well...

I believe I'm slated to join family this time around. Much less amusing.

Thought I noticed something when I went to dial...I have two hired hitmen retracing your steps and they should reach you by the time the fireworks start.

Nothing terribly original planned. Just enjoying the day off work and fighting with myself to continue Suikoden IV (since this is about the 3rd or 4th time this game has left me with nowhere to go after a seemingly major plot point and I'm "not allowed" to go to any of the places I have discovered...For anyone who's in the know, it's right after going to the pirate's nest).

My parents are away for the week, so I'd just come from house-sitting for them.  I dropped by at the neighbors, though - they always have this big ol' bash for the entire neighborhood.  Stayed for a quick lunch, then shot back home; it's too freaken humid out here today.  &_&

Time to crank up the AC.... and the Dead Man's Chest soundtrack!

I'm heading off to work.

Spent just about the entire day here at home with my girlfriend. We went out to lunch and got some ice cream. After a big storm passed over we shot off fireworks. Nice and relaxing day.

Happy 4th everyone....took in the new Super Man (yawn), invited the parents over for dinner, and now watching "House" with the g/f - life is good.
