It's been that way for several months, now.
It's been that way for several months, now.
Wouldn't surprise me, but it cracked me up either way.

Is that the Nyan Nyan Nyanko cat? I was just thinking about it this morning! That is a freaky.
From Digital Bits:
By the way... you fans of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will be pleased to learn this. Mike Stradford told me that Sony's working hard to get the film released on DVD here in the States by the end of 2006. Apparently, it's taking a little extra time to work with the director to get all the supplemental elements finished, but the title is on track for release sometime later this year. I seem to get at least one e-mail asking about Advent Children a day, so there you go!
I'm amused that they have to work hard to get it done by the end of 2006, considering, you know, the fansubbers managed to make the movie perfectly watchable after it'd been out in Japan for about 24 hours. The longer we wait, the less inclined I am to give Square and Sony money for something that they're being horrible inept about.

Yes it is! These things are adoreable.

I assume they're fixing it so that the characters' movement will synch with the English Voice track. That's the LEAST I would expect for waiting a whole year.
For taking this long, they had better be re-rendering the mouths.

But Columbia announced the movie for June 2006 in Europe!
I'll bet you that's a rumor. Rumors aren't really helpful, like when Kingdom Hearts 2 was/is going to be released.

The hell? Last I heard, they were taking supplemental materials OUT. Last Order, y'know?
Still, this delay business is getting pretty stupid. They should just release a subbed version now, and put the dub and the supplementals in a Deluxe Edition later. Standard DVD operating procedure.
Last Order was only included in the Japanese Limited Edition. I would be really surprised if they included it for the standard movie price version in the US. We all know that would piss off the Japanese audience, and SquarEnix is most interested in catering to them out of all the markets of the world. Just look at Kingdom Hearts/Final Mix.

FFVII AC's European release date is not a rumor, it was officially announced by Columbia Tristar (that is to say Sony).
Why would they announce a European release before a US release? Did they use a seperate set of voice actors or something?
Amazon.com makes me laugh:
I got a Jap. copy about 6 months ago. My friend made me a copy.
Since I already have a japanese DVD, I'll just wait for whatever deluxe edition they decide to release 10 years from now.
The U.S. release date has been set for 4/25.
