Actually, this (my topic) is a bit late....but it's still worth hearing.

Some of you may remember when Mythri was first announced, and remember in particular the three awesome-sounding songs that were released with it - some seriously catchy chiptunes (or whatever they're called these days). But due to the game's extremely troubled development, the rest of the soundtrack never saw the light of day - until recently.

Finally, Ian Stocker has released all the work he did for Mythri GBC, and I personally find it to be some really great stuff (even if it doesn't loop *grumble*). If you're a fan of good Gameboy music, you really should check it out.

If you want to grab all the music in one fell swoop (and save a bit of the guy's bandwidth), you can get a zip file of all the music via the following links:

Yeah good compositions, and the melodies are really sweet! smile

(by the way, if one is interested in more unreleased GB music, there's also the GBC shooter soundtrack i did wink http://dma-sc.atari.org/works.php?cat=gb )

Thanks for the kind words everyone.  My site is still very new but I'm planning to add new things every week.  Just today I added some demo material from recent professional projects for GBA and DS.

If you guys have anything you'd like me to write about, or would like to see more of anything in particular, give me a shout.

Best,
Ian

Some really nice stuff.  Is the GBA version of the game cancelled or still in limbo or what?  The website appears not to be very updated and I haven't read anything at all about it recently.  As much as I harp about people with talent wasting their efforts on intellectual property that's not theirs, it would be sad to see something original never get to see the light of day after so much effort.
