Mexican guitars and horns meet crisp chiptunes, with a bit of bass for good measure. It's not your typical game soundtrack sound for sure, but Peter Chapman and Rom Di Prisco largely pull it off, whether as slightly spooky ambiance, funky grooves, or upbeat dance. A more succinct album might have suited the concept better, but even with a couple of dry spells in the two-hour set it's one of the more interesting and unique game soundtracks of the year.
