Gametrailers has a new video up featuring Mitsuda talking about CT. It's not subtitled, but you can get a good earful of the CT Orchestra Album that's going to be included with the game.

Just preordered the game on Amazon (I just noticed they're doing the CD promotion too, can't wait!)

Several days ago when I watched another video I wondered who was that lady sitting beside Mitsuda and once suspected it would be Kameoka but the fact Mitsuda was capable of orchestrating music himself made me lean away from the suspicion. But it's Kameoka after all.
I prefer Squareenix (and Uematsu) has more of her or Matsuo, and less of Toyama or Nakamura.

You can hear samples in the 'Music & Video' section of the official website here. Both the TGS 2008 PV and the Mitsuda video.

I really enjoy the themes. The orchestration is excellent and brings out the most of the melodies. I'm really hoping for a bit more saxophone later in the main theme to bring out the Americana but the horns work great too. Agreed with PQTN that Kameoka is a good choice. And, yeah, less Toyama please.

I still think Toyama did an excellent job in Wild Arms and Crisis Core. I do agree, however, that in Advent Children, his orchestrations sounded a bit weak (especially when compared to Hamaguchi's). But Kameoka is an excellent choice indeed. Last time she worked with Square Enix, it ended up brilliantly.
