I still haven't gotten around to playing the game, but some of those samples on the website are freaking awesome.  Surprised we're getting this so long after the fact.  Maybe there's hope for a DKC Tropical Freeze CD release via Club Nintendo as well?

I just finished playing this game, and played most of it connected to my stereo system. The 3DS speakers couldn't do this soundtrack justice.

I'm really glad this is getting a CD release, but I've never bought a Japanese Club Nintendo soundtrack before so I don't know what I'm in for price-wise (or hunt-wise). I have no reasonable expectation this will wash ashore North America's Club Nintendo.

Edit: By the way, Joe--if you can help it at all, I definitely recommend bumping the game up in your queue. I put it off for a while myself, but once I got started, I couldn't put it down. I was enthralled!

Same here... but considering the only Zelda game I've ever completed was A Link to the Past I kind of have to play this at some point, right?

This will be mine! About time Nintendo actually bothered to release a Zelda soundtrack again. Still waiting for Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, and every portable Zelda game, guys!

I hear that XLord. I really wish I could get an Oracle of Ages/Seasons OST. That would be mighty beautiful. I too need to figure out how to obtain this gem big_smile

OH THANK GOD.  I really did pick the best time to move to Japan.  Between this and the Sailor Moon, Utena, and Mother 2 merchandise revivals, I'm in heaven.

Edit:  Well, that was quick.  2000 yen later, I have mine preordered.

Great music for a great game. I love the cover too. It's been a while since I bought a VGM CD but I may have to get a copy of this one.

I never played the GBA games (Oracle), then I missed out on the Minish Cap. I know some people love those games, but to me it seemed like it wasn't a full-fledged Zelda game. I then played Skyward Sword and loved much of it, but ultimately became too frustrated with the ridiculous controller to finish it. Which is too bad, since it could have been a classic. Oh, and I failed to play the DS Zelda games too. So... I guess the last true Zelda game I played was Twilight Princess, and that was a masterful game.

You know, I really don't have an explanation as to why I haven't played more Zelda games. I got halfway through Ocarina on the 3DS but... then the Water Temple happened (which isn't as annoying as it was on the N64 due to the new menus)... The basic (and oh so boring) explanation is something else was always grabbing my attention at those given times.

Then again, I'm more of a Metroid hound anyway. The only one I haven't played is Other M. It's still here waiting to be played and picked apart.

I thought I did well at 2,499 yen. The day after I preordered on YJA, one was listed at 1,500 yen.
