Does anyone have an mp3 of the FF8 demo version of The Landing?

Also, does anyone know why Uematsu changed it? The only thing I could think of is that it's pretty similar to the main theme of the movie "The Rock" ...

I think you answered your own question.  As far as I know, that's the only reason that was ever thrown around.

The only way I know of getting the track is using the psf. rip from the demo and using something like Winamp to convert it to a wave or mp3.

Still a pretty awesome track, in my book.  I always wished they had kept the track in, so that the official "The Landing" in the final game would remain exclusive to the amazing Garden war sequence at the end of disk 2.
