Rolling six Katamari at once is disconcerting... and addictive. I've still yet to get either of the PS2 Katamaris, so should I start with the first or skip directly to We Love Katamari?

I think that's as far as you can get.

I wish I knew how to resize the screen - I imagine it would make watching the 46-Katamari match more fulfilling.

I'd recommend starting with the first, mostly because both games are extremely similiar and the first is cheaper and has better music.

As someone else said, both games are similar but equally fun. I personally liked the music in both games, simply because they both made me laugh and you're so busy trying to get your quota that you don't really notice music quality anyway. ^_~ As such, I recommend starting with the first one -- We Love Katamari will be a lot funnier (and, in some ways, a lot more profound) if you play Katamari Damacy first.
