This is easily the most consistent of the three Nanosweep releases, and is my favorite already. If you're a fan of electronica that's slightly left of center, I can't recommend this enough. It's a damn good deal for 500 JPY.

I enjoy track 2 "Silence" the best, and overall I probably listen to NanoSweep 2 a bit more than this album, but yeah it's practically giveaway pricing!

Interesting to see Ayako Saso rocking out pretty hardcore on track 7's "Do you play?" normally she's not that ballsy smile

Giveaway is right, man. I'm a huge fan of Saso and Hosoe's contributions to this disc. Their past stuff has been decent on Nano and Nano2, but this shit is gold right here.

Not a single track by Sano hmm

"Silence" and "Lucida" are the best cuts. Unfortunately, the rest of the tracks are overly repetitious and pretty boring. I wish composers on the nanosweep albums could do tracks closer to what they compose for vgm soundtracks. Yousuke Yasui's offerings on all three have been disappointing, to say the least. If he could cut a track even remotely resembling ElecMan's theme from Rockman EXE Transmission then he would have something special.

Saso can rock. "Temptation Gun" on the Street Fighter EX3 ost is a testament to that. Zane knows what I'm talkin' about! wink

Heart and soul, man. That's one of my favorite VGM tunes of all time!!

Nanosweep.3 was an excellent album.  Got the album not knowing what to expect and came out very happy with it as a whole.

Not one song I didn't like, but my favorite two were "Lucida" and "Do You Play?" hands down.  Never heard of Ryo Watanbe before this, and I'd love to see him branch out of Nanosweep (unless I just haven't come across any soundtracks he's composed).
