Of course I did. You wrote "maybe get it again" because that's the way many people use it colloquially and most probably the way you use it in casual speech. Which is the same reason I wrote "ceases" when I meant "seizes" without reflecting on it, because I was "thinking" in spoken language. I agree it doesn't look as "bad" (although its not as bad as it could have been, because the context made it perfectly clear that the meaning was "seizes"), but its essentially the same mistake.

How is this an ungrammatical colloquialism?  "Get it again" is a valid imperative sentence.  Adding "maybe" just turns it from a command to a suggestion.

He wrote "Hey, maybe get it again!", which doesn't specify who will get it again (the sentence is missing an "I'll", since he was referring to himself, although of course the context makes it perfectly clear), which at the root is the same mistake I made with mixing up the two words in the other thread (namely, thinking in speech). Now let's not turn the thread about the lovely Shatter music more anal than its already become, OK? I'm sorry I even made the comment, it was just a tongue-in-cheek jab at the ceases/seizes affair.
