Brilliant news but hope this one doesn't get sold out for months like the last one. ^_^
I honestly thought it was a miracle when I finally found a copy after 2 solid weeks of looking.

They're already starting a new trilogy, with first game (P. Layton and the Devil’s Flute) to be released Fall 2009. It's a prequel though.
Apparently this new game starts 3 years before Curious Village. So Luke is like 8?
And the movie, which comes out 1/2010 is called Layton and the Immortal Songstress. this movie is supposed to come after Devil's Flute in the chronology.

The storylines are so interesting, but the gameplay can irritate you, as he mentioned above.
You could spend like hours on one puzzle (ex:slide, math)
You’d be listening to the “Nazo” (Puzzle) theme and have to tolerate it.
But I can tolerate the music just fine.
I admit the trailer musics of the first trilogy are siren songs; so good that I was lured into playing these games which lead to my frustration rather than rocky death.
But despite this, the games are quite good.
The music in the game is tolerable, likeable too.
Since this is a prequel trilogy, maybe we'll get some back story on why Luke's parents left him to Layton's tutelage. Or maybe Layton is Luke's father?
Luke: I thought my parents were dead.
Layton: No, Luke, I....am your father..
