I'm really digging the music in that second trailer; wonder if they're bringing series composer Hisayoshi Ogura back on board?

I think it's been confirmed already that OGR is doing all the music for the game, but I'm not 100% positive.

I'd consider it confirmed by this Tweet from OGR himself: "Overseas game fans please enjoy Taito's "DariusBurst". It comes in this winter..."

(At least he's appearing in some capacity, as Zuntata has also been mentioned as being part of the sound design, which could also mean the newer members)

I didn't catch the news, but the official site lists two ZUNTATA members as the composers, while giving Ogura a vague 'sound designer' credit. So he doesn't score a single track in the worst case. Let's see how it will turn out.

If he isn't composing anything new, perhaps the two composers are arranging some of his past works. That's also a possibility, given his sound designer status.

So, thanks to this thread, I went back and dug out G. Darius and my PSone.  Still rocks.  Man is it awesome when you hit the bosses' alpha beam with your own and you get a Marvel Vs. Capcom-esque giant beam to eff the boss up with.  Sweetness.

Just wanted to note that Zuntata just posted a page with the Darius Burst sound team, and OGR is specifically credited as being a composer along with Shohei Tsuchiya and Hirokazu Koshio. Now, if you want to be pessimistic, this doesn't necessarily indicate that he's composed anything new...

Also, I think the blue text says he's formed his own sound studio? We may be seeing more from him in the future.
