Utmost excitement!!
I HOPE TO GAWD that both Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment make it out. With any luck it will be localized. Does anyone know how the Revelations remake sold in the US?
Does anyone know how the Revelations remake sold in the US?
The PSP one? About half as well in NA as it did in Japan, if this site's reliable. I'd like to see this come over, though. I'm a stickler for playing games in order if I can.
VGchartz is the least reliable of this kind and it's just full of craps because they just come up with whatever sales figures they think is likely ("the last week 2000 units sold, Okay, so this week is 1800!" Their date is correct only when they copy and paste date from Media Creates, Famitsu, NPD. Their date tends to be far more overblown than the actual date would have been, since they just "add" random figures pretty much every week. I actually adore VGchartz, in that they eventually attract a solid number of site visitors even though the date they offer is an utter crap.
Anyways, it appears P1 Remake hasn't received as much a harsh reception in Western than as in Eastern.
Any news on this being Innocent Sin or Eternal Punishment? Maybe a compilation remake?
The scan says Innocent Sin. According to Kotaku and Siliconera, Eternal Punishment isn't planned but Meguro would love to do it. He said he wanted to get both on 1 UMD but that would be impossible. Obvious guess is if IS sells well we will be seeing EP later. And if they both get localized then we can play Persona 1-3 on PSP. Bangin'
Great news. P2 is my favourite MegaTen-game, and everyone deserves a chance to try it. I hope they resist the urge to change too much in the game, unlike the case was with P1, the original P2 is still fully "playable" today, they only need to port it straight. And if they port IS, they have to port EP.
