As the title implies, the standard edition of ESPGaluda II is region-free.

So, those who want some more Cave shmup goodness, order the standard edition. Both come with an OST anyway, so it's not like you are losing anything aside from a special faceplate.

So, those with a 360, do you plan on ordering it now that the region-free announcement has been made?

I might be purchasing a 360 soon, if only for the Cave shmup goodness! Especially with Death Smiles being localized big_smile

I'm really not THAT into shooters, but all this region-free stuff for the 360 lately will make me keep my eye out for bargains next time I'm in Akihabara (by that time, I imagine these will be rather cheap-ish!).

I was looking at this the other day, and it's insane that they charging what they are for the LE version, the cover art is even worse.  The only thing that sucks is when I try to sell my Galuda II PCB I'm not going to get much for it now.  If Ketsui ever gets released and it's region-free, I'll have absolutely no reason to buy a JP 360 (other than a broken port of Dai-ou-jou), and that's a beautiful thing.

I'll likely do a batch order for both Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 and ESPGaluda II.  With Death Smiles on the way, this is a miraculous time for shmup fans overseas.

I got to try out Mushi for the very first time the other day.  I made the unfortunate mistake of trying out Ultra Mode, thinking I was hot shit.  Turns out I was just shit. tongue

I'm usually not one to let a game's cover art be a deterrent, but yeah, the limited edition rendition looks so much classier.  Ah, what are you gonna do.

Hot DAMN.  First Mushihimesama Futari, then Deathsmiles and now this?!

Boco Feb 17, 2010

Gaaah! My wallet!

Seriously though, I really can't afford to get this, but I will anyway. I'm really excited about this news. Mushihimesama Futari was a blast and I'm really looking forward to both ESPGaluda II and Deathsmiles.
