i was browsing otaku.com for probably the first time in 5 years and saw this:

i thought to myself,, now damn that is a long overdue! I just hope its not beginner dumbed-down single-note-melody versions of the songs. it also says 53 songs,, however i only recall 44 tracks on the OST. Does anyone else know anything about this item?

You can find this item at the bottom of the page. Actually, the music comes from all the Seiken Densetsu series: Seiken Densetsu (1-9), Secret of Mana (10-11), Seiken Densetsu 3 (12-22), Legend of Mana (23-34) and Dawn of Mana (35-52).

Only two tracks from Secret of Mana?  That's a shame. 

One of them should at least be "Into the Thick of it."

i used to sit and play for hours soloing over the SD2 cd,, the rapid key changes in some of those songs are very hard to keep up with. i must get this book. at least there are ample sd3 tracks to play with...

The two tracks are "Fond Memories" and "Spirit of the Night".
