The CD Japan link says the release is canceled, but it's since been re-announced for a May 21st release date with a new catalog no. (UPCH-1606). Judging by the Neowing description, it's supposed to have electronic remixes of 80s Famicom titles. The songs will presumably be from Konami, but Tongari Kids are supposed to be on it which makes me wonder if B-Dash will be featured.

If it is limited to Konami, then I'm up for new techno remixes of Twinbee and Metal Gear themes. "Vampire Killer" would be swell as well, especially since DDR Universe butchered it >_<

What the heck is Quarth?

It's a puzzle game. I think it also has elements of a shooter in it. Okay to decent music.

It's not really a shooter any more than Puzzle Bobble is, outside the fact that you use a ship (IIRC). It's an interesting diversion though....can't say I remember the music at ALL.

I noticed this was on iTunes Japan under its final title, "Konami Addiction ~For Electro Lovers~" so I listened to the samples. Honestly, the only ones that sounded halfway interesting to me were the Salamander and Contra remixes (tracks 8 and 9, respectively). Everything else was far too low key for my tastes. Has anyone heard the full versions, though, just in case the samples aren't fully indicative of the songs?

Uhh, I had the unfortunate pleasure of purchasing this.
Lots of repetition and not much for the melodies...

However, there is one very unique **WTF** track which I absolutely have to share here, because it defies all logic.

Seriously, you have NEVER EVER heard a castlevania track like this before, and I have no clue as to how they arrived at this song AT ALL...  I'm completely befuddled and practically speechless.  @_@

Should I worry myself when I tend to like this somewhat easyish breezyish song. Relaxing or something. Also, reminds me bit of Hako no Niwa.  Maybe I should get this album, knowing that I saved Dracula X remixies (Yes, I like the album, hang me on an apple tree, please) from being thrown into a garbage bin by the_miker. :P
