Anyone know the name of the song during the first stage they play in this vid, and what game it's inspired from?

I knew the soundtrack was going to be good but ... damn ... this is just amazing.

"Stickerbrush Symphony" (sometimes referred to as "Bramble Blast" because that was the stage name) from Donkey Kong Country 2. It's a true classic made even better for Smash Bros.

Damn I hope they release some absurd 6-disc OST for Brawl.

Heck yeah, me too. That's one list of music that deserves as many discs as they want to throw at it!

Knowing Nintendo they try to cram it into a release half that size by not looping; course I'm not optimistic it'll get a release.

Damn good variety of music though. I have to say after playing it a bit and hearing some of the tracks I'm a bit jealous of those of you who can download that rip (I'm on dialup).

Sakurai said there were troublesome licensing issues especially with the music which hints to me that an OST release won't be possible, at least not with ALL the tracks.

I was definitely wowed upon hearing the Stickerbrush Symphony remix playing in the SSE as well as the Mario World Ghost House theme.

BTW I hadn't downloaded the Rip yet, but since the English version is out, are there any plans to catalog the "tracks" and who composed/arranged them? Or has something like that already been done?

I've been holding out on listening because of this too. I mean, 16 hours...
