Got my ticket ready for my return trip to Rapture; it'll be interesting to see if BioShock 2 can live up to the lofty expectations set forth by the first game. Shortly after, I'll be visiting my boy at the prosecutor's office with Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth. The desire to play through an all-new AA has reached its boiling point, so hopefully Edgey will deliver the goods. Better Heavy Rain than heavy snow for this last full month of winter. The title still reeks of highly experimental, but this could be one of the most originals games of the year if done right. We'll see.
I'm honestly not the biggest fan of the genre, but like The Hurt Locker, I've heard unanimous praise for last year's Zombieland. It looks like a hoot, so I'll least be giving the home release a rental. As far as soundtracks (and since I'm opting out of the exorbitant special edition), I'll be grabbing the BioShock 2 Soundtrack once it hits iTunes. I'm always up for more of Garry Schyman's creepy, elegant work.
Don has reminded me that the Guwange Arrange Album + Original Sound Track is also on its way. If nothing else, the arrangements set forth by highly prolific composers such as Naruke and Yamane may alone be worth the price of admission.
