Just got back from the game store where I found something interesting. I knew there was a remodel for the NES and SNES, but had no clue there was a third Sega Genesis model. It's so cute and compact that I had to get it.

Got Sonic 1 and 2, now only if I could find Sonic 3. Love the different shields in it.

An interesting fact about Sonic 3 is that when it came out Sega actually had a release party in Punxsutawney on Groundhog Day in 1994. I remember my friend - who usually won every contest he entered - winning the game in a raffle and selling it to our librarian.

There was a SNES remodel?

That mini Genesis 3 is pretty neat.  I used to have one years ago.  The only problem I ever had with it was its weight.  If you're having an intense gaming session and you ever-so-gently tug on the controller, that system will go flying, haha.

I actually have the CDX, almost as small as the Genesis 3 but it's a Genesis and Sega CD combined.  http://img455.imageshack.us/i/s3010524kt2.jpg/

The X'Eye is how I roll. I'd been aware of the Genesis 3 previously, but apparently there's now a "Genesis 4".
