Yes the constant loud static is hugely annoying. I would wait to record a decent clip before promoting your band.
If you strategically placed those static scratches, or just electronically added record scratch sounds, it might actually add to the experience!
Awesome that you got that many people together, much less got a recording studio for the effort!
Also you might want to always keep the "Banda" in the title when referring to your VGM fan band since the name is extremely similar to an existing one.
I can't stand those guys. They're so self-absorbed and egotistical, and their website shows it blatantly.
They're not even that great as musicians, not as much as they think they are.
They're also psychologically unable to handle any form of criticism with gravitas.
