I'd picked a bad time to stop listing new releases. Quite a few interesting-looking soundtracks from the first months of the year:
January 2012
-Sonic Generations OST ~Blue Blur~
-Shinobi 3D OST (Norihiko Hibino et al.)
-Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4 OST (Yuzo Koshiro)
-Armored Core V OST
-Soul Calibur V OST [forum thread]
February 2012
-Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary OST
-Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning OST (Grant Kirkhope)
-Gyakuten Saiban Sound Box [forum thread]
-Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki OST
-Rhythm Kaitou R: Koutei Napoleon no Isan OST (Naofumi Hataya & Tomoya Otani)
-Biohazard Revelations OST
-Pachislot Akumajo Dracula III OST
-Final Fantasy XI Vana Con Anniversary 11.11.11 (orchestral concert DVD)
-Rom Cassette Disc In Natsume Vol.1
-Data East Retro Game Music Collection 3
-Piano Opera Final Fantasy I/II/III
Pack-ins & Bonuses
-Soul Calibur V Collector's Edition Soundtrack
-BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extent Limited Edition Soundtrack
I'm surprised we've got new releases from Norihiko Hibino (Shinobi), Yuzo Koshiro (Wangan Midnight), and Naofumi Hataya & Tomoya Otani (Rhythm Kaitou R) but haven't heard anything about them around here.
Personally it's this Kingdoms of Amalur soundtrack that has me most interested, being composed by Grant Kirkhope of the gorgeous Viva Pinata OST.
Most surprisingly - a new Genso Suikoden soundtrack and not a peep? Or hardly even for the game itself around the net as a whole. Have Konami run their once treasured RPG series into the ground?
