i almost dropped big money on that one last year, but lost the auction. hey, at least you own the original printing.

To be totally honest, I really have no problem with the release of reprints of older, rarer albums that I already own - I buy my CDs to listen to, not to appreciate in value.  THAT SAID, in this one case I'm just sort of irked that I'm totally going to buy the new printing to have a disc version of those two tracks (have been trying for yeeeeeeeears to track down a copy of the mini CD to complete my Shimomura collection) and that means I'll have a redundant-but-rare CD that's not actually worth anything just taking up space.  Bah!

It IS a great soundtrack, though... anyone who's ever been interested in it should feel lucky that they're getting a shot at owning it for cheap now!
