Not much to say here. I've been playing around with my Pandaboard lately (ARM Cortex-A9 developer board) which is still acting up a bit. Want to get at least some emulators running on it and maybe H264 hardware decoding working. Technically this SoC is quite a beast: dual core Cortex-A9, two Cortex-M3, IVA-HD DSP, PowerVR GPU -- an impressive amount of computing power for such a small device *g*
Anyway, here are some releases for April...
Preorders:
KSLA-0089 | Little Busters! / Kud Wafter Piano Arrange Album "ripresa"
k-music-54 | Eikoku Tantei Mysteria Soundtrack "Mysterious Symphony" (recommendation by Teioh)
The interesting stuff:
PCCR-00561 | Onna Nobunaga Original Soundtrack (TV series soundtrack by Hisaishi)
SVWC-7937 | TV ANIMATION ROBOTICS;NOTES Original Soundtrack (Yuuki Hayashi on board)
GNCA-7193 | AMNESIA CROWD Soundtrack PLUS (lots of vocal themes by Kaori Oda)
The rest:
DEMONGAZE Original Soundtrack (some tracks from the trailer sounded interesting)
PCCG-01329 | Tamako Market Soundtrack Album (currently watching this)
CPCA-10293~5 | Professor Layton VS Gyakuten Saiban Magical Mystery Music (probably quite a clusterfuck)
N/A | Caladrius Original Sound Track (depends quite a lot on who from Basiscape is involved)
I still haven't preordered anything yet, since the Key piano album still has to show up on CDJ. Then Teioh sent me this link to some samples for Eikoku Tantei Mysteria. His comment, that these were similar to Naruke's soundtrack for Noora and the Time Studio, made he interested at once. And hell yeah, the music sounded very promising!
The interesting list is comprised of a new album by Joe Hisaishi, then the first anime score done by Yuuki Hayashi (who I grew very fond of due to his great TV scores). Last but not least we've got Amnesia Crowd there, mainly added because of the vocal themes by Kaori Oda (no BGM composer information available).
And then four albums in the last list: The composer for Demongaze seems to be a newcomer. Fresh ideas are always welcome, so I added this. Concerning the Layton vs. Gyakuten album, I'm sceptical that this turns out to be OK. Same applies to Caladrius, which is supposedly one of these bullet-hell shooters *yuck*
Join in and present your highlights for April!
Greets,
