Not much to say here. I've been playing around with my Pandaboard lately (ARM Cortex-A9 developer board) which is still acting up a bit. Want to get at least some emulators running on it and maybe H264 hardware decoding working. Technically this SoC is quite a beast: dual core Cortex-A9, two Cortex-M3, IVA-HD DSP, PowerVR GPU -- an impressive amount of computing power for such a small device *g*

Anyway, here are some releases for April...

Preorders:
KSLA-0089 | Little Busters! / Kud Wafter Piano Arrange Album "ripresa"
k-music-54 | Eikoku Tantei Mysteria Soundtrack "Mysterious Symphony" (recommendation by Teioh)

The interesting stuff:
PCCR-00561 | Onna Nobunaga Original Soundtrack (TV series soundtrack by Hisaishi)
SVWC-7937 | TV ANIMATION ROBOTICS;NOTES Original Soundtrack (Yuuki Hayashi on board)
GNCA-7193 | AMNESIA CROWD Soundtrack PLUS (lots of vocal themes by Kaori Oda)

The rest:
DEMONGAZE Original Soundtrack (some tracks from the trailer sounded interesting)
PCCG-01329 | Tamako Market Soundtrack Album (currently watching this)
CPCA-10293~5 | Professor Layton VS Gyakuten Saiban Magical Mystery Music (probably quite a clusterfuck)
N/A | Caladrius Original Sound Track (depends quite a lot on who from Basiscape is involved)

I still haven't preordered anything yet, since the Key piano album still has to show up on CDJ. Then Teioh sent me this link to some samples for Eikoku Tantei Mysteria. His comment, that these were similar to Naruke's soundtrack for Noora and the Time Studio, made he interested at once. And hell yeah, the music sounded very promising! smile

The interesting list is comprised of a new album by Joe Hisaishi, then the first anime score done by Yuuki Hayashi (who I grew very fond of due to his great TV scores). Last but not least we've got Amnesia Crowd there, mainly added because of the vocal themes by Kaori Oda (no BGM composer information available).

And then four albums in the last list: The composer for Demongaze seems to be a newcomer. Fresh ideas are always welcome, so I added this. Concerning the Layton vs. Gyakuten album, I'm sceptical that this turns out to be OK. Same applies to Caladrius, which is supposedly one of these bullet-hell shooters *yuck*

Hopefully that VGO kickstarter album will be out in April.  Other than that, nothing else VGM for me in April.

Just Meitantei Conan Movie 17 OST and theme song single and hopefully that's it.

Taxes, car insurance bills and credit card payments coming all at once have not made me a happy camper.... ;_;

Thanks for the tip on Eikoku Tantei Mysteria. Listened to the few samples on the game's site and it sounds promising. Do you have any other source for more of its music?

Teioh just sent me this YT link. I haven't listened to anything else.

I'd suggest you avoid the rest, as the series is totally a waste of time (even not by KyoAni standard).

I'm already at episode 11 and the damn thing only has twelve, so I'll just end it properly. But you're totally right, this was one of the most unspectacular slice-of-life anime I've ever seen. It's so devoid of story. If you would remove even a tiny bit more, it would probably create a singularity or something...

The most important April release for me is the Mahou Daisakusen Original Soundtrack. I don't know what "Caladrius" is, but it looks like it's worth trading for. I don't buy inserts unless they are of extremely high significance (i.e. Castlevania).

I'm willing to buy Sora no Kiseki Zanmai, but not Shinji Hosoe Vol.2, since it's not a full arrange album. I'm not clear why adding a few arranged tracks increases the price to that of (and beyond) a full arranged album.

I wonder if licensing fees have anything to do with it. As far as I can tell, Namco still owns the rights to that music so to get permission to publish probably costs some money which could inflate the price a bit. That's my guess.

ordered Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen OST. i rated the original pretty high, so this one was a no-brainer.
