KICA-2403~4 | Dragon Quest X Original Soundtrack (I could never get into DQ music, but it's a big franchise so I'll add it for completeness)
KICA-3213 | Aku no Hana Original Soundtrack "L'hymne du mal" (I expect mostly brooding and atonal ambient tracks, but still...)

The first preorder is Kaze Tachinu, latest Studio Ghibli work with the classic Miyazaki (directed and written by) / Hisaishi (composing) setup. In theory this simply can't fail, especially since it seems to feature a more mature story than Ponyo. I don't exactly dislike Ponyo, but for me it was more a film targetted to a children audience (similar to Pixar's Finding Nemo).
Second preorder is Devil Survivor 2 Break Record where I just hope for Atlus Sound Team (and not Ito) to take the lead.

I can't belive Sugiyama's still cranking these out at 82.

Let's be honest, there's not a lot of ... variety in dragon quest arrangements. And technically dragon quest x has been out for almost 3 years.

Three years? I thought it came out last August.

And fair enough. Maybe he's really dead and they're just pasting together pieces of his old compositions to keep up appearances. And holograms for conducting the orchestra. Like a geriatric Sharon Apple.

Still, at his age, the average man is dead.

For some reason I thought it was older. Guess not. Regardless, they released the symphonic before the ost so I imagine there's not much work involved here -- just packaging it up

I also just realized the OST coming out is the Wii version, not the PC version.  So there's that, too.

Yeah, it looks like there's a lot more tracks in the WiiU version. Doesn't matter for me. I haven't enjoyed a Dragon Quest soundtrack since VIII. Both IX and X fell flat to me.

The Devil Survivor album release has been pushed back to November, and with it my Kaze Tachinu preorder. Still trying to figure out how to modify/split my order.
